14 Ways You Can Help

If you would like to help spread the Living With a Broken Heart message so that it can bless as many people's lives as possible, here are some ideas:

1. Encourage your friends to buy the book.
2. Give the book as a gift to someone who is grieving, or to a minister or counselor who might find the book helpful.
3. Recommend the book. Blog about it. Tweet about it. Share it on Facebook. Pin it on Pinterest. Send people to the website for more detailed information (http://livingbrokenhearted.com/).
4. Review the book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, GoodReads, Library Thing, and other book-related social networks and book sales websites.
5. Help create media exposure. If you know someone who works in TV, radio, newspapers, or magazines (or Internet versions of any of those), give them a copy of the book and/or encourage them to get in touch with my Media Contact at Tate Publishing to arrange for an author interview or story about the book.
6. Do a video review of the book and post it to YouTube and other video-sharing websites. Hold up the book so it can be seen in the video. It doesn’t have to be a long video. One or two minutes is sufficient.
7. Recommend the book to your local libraries.
8. Recommend the book to local churches for their church libraries.
9. Recommend the book to local ministers as a good resource for grief ministry.
10. Recommend the book to local funeral homes as a resource for grieving families.
11. Recommend the book to local bookstores, especially independently-owned bookstores and religious bookstores.
12. Seed the book. If you can afford to buy a few extra copies, start leaving them around town where people will find them. Leave a copy on the bus. Donate a copy to the library, to your church, to a funeral home. Leave a copy in the doctor’s or dentist’s waiting room. Make a handmade bookmark to put inside the book with the book’s website address: http://livingbrokenhearted.com/. Every additional copy of the book in circulation helps generate exposure and word-of-mouth advertising for the book.
13. Bookmark the book’s website. If you use any of the bookmarking sites ( like Reddit, Digg, delicio.us, StumbleUpon.etc.), bookmark the book’s website to help build awareness and create exposure for the book.
14. Pray for the book’s success. And by success, we don’t mean just selling a lot of books. Please pray that this book will be a source of encouragement and comfort to people who are struggling with grief.
